Research Skills Workshop

We offer support to Sixth Form students who are required to undertake independent research as a part of their studies. This workshop is ideal for sixth formers who are completing coursework as well as supporting the taught skills element of the Extended Project Qualification (EPQ).

Please note this workshop cannot be booked by individual students. It must be booked by school staff.

On Campus at the Philip Robinson Library

This interactive workshop will help sixth form students develop the skills they need for A-level success, and offers your students the opportunity to research and study in Newcastle University Library.

Online (via Teams or Zoom)

This workshop will be delivered to whole groups in the classroom via Teams or Zoom. It will will cover finding and evaluating resources, avoiding plagiarism and how to reference.

In School

This workshop will be delivered in school by a member of the Library Education Outreach Team, who will cover finding and evaluating resources, avoiding plagiarism and how to reference.
