About this workshop
This workshop offers your students the opportunity to develop and apply their research skills at Newcastle University Library, ideal for Year 12 and Year 13 students who are completing coursework, NEAs or an Extended Project Qualification (EPQ).
A typical session includes:
- A short guided tour of the University Library
- A taught session covering research skills, reading skills and referencing (approx. 45 minutes long, but can be adjusted upon request)
- Independent research time using our resources
Suitable for: Key Stage 5
Subjects: All (including EPQ)
Duration: Half a day to 1 day
Maximum number of students: 40
Minimum number of students: 5
Please note, we have varied space capacity throughout the year. If you plan to bring a larger group of students, we may need to offer you more than one workshop to accommodate all of your students.
