About this workshop

  • This interactive workshop offers your students the opportunity to develop and apply their research skills at Newcastle University Library.
  • Students will be given a tour of the Library and then a member of our team will deliver a taught research skills session in one of our teaching spaces.
  • The workshop will cover how to find and evaluate resources, how to avoid plagiarism and how to reference correctly.
  • Students will then have the opportunity to carry out independent research in the Library.

Suitable for: Key Stage 5

Subjects: All (including EPQ)

Duration: Half a day to 1 day
